When you get separated with the only person who’s ever made your life meaningful, nothing else will seem to matter to you other than getting back with your ex.  You can actually still save your relationship even if you are no longer together. But don’t just come up with schemes on your own on how to get your ex back because being in the condition that you are in right now, you still have the tendency to come up with plans based emotions and not on rational thinking. In short, you can easily commit errors and possibly mess things up further. I’m sure that’s the least thing that you want right now.

The key to reviving a relationship is to learn how to control your emotions and how to think clearly. Obviously, you are the total opposite of these things right now. That’s why you need to take a short break from all the stress and put the relationship aside for a while. Yes, it means no contact with your ex at all. I know it sounds crazy, but this is the first and most crucial step that you need to accomplish in getting your ex back.

Believe it or not, spending some “Me Time” can also be fun and really helpful in this process. Don’t worry much because your ex is probably doing the same thing right now. Both of you got equally hurt and neither of you are in good condition to help each other. The only way you can really get back to your normal self is to try your best to be happy again even without your ex. This is achievable by reconnecting with family, hanging out with friends, meeting new acquaintances, and engaging yourself in activities that involves your passion and interests. You will find this difficult at the start, but eventually you will feel all better inside. Not for long, you can genuinely laugh, have fun, and be happy again. When that time comes, you will be more equipped to bring back your ex into your life.
